Smothered Mate was founded in 2025 with the goal of becoming the world’s first serious chess apparel brand. Clothing is designed in Miami, FL, and many of the garments are being manufactured in the USA.

The grand launch of the Smothered Mate apparel brand is planned for Fall 2026.
